大栅栏和北京国际设计周的合作始于2011年，连续7年，大栅栏以规模大、参与多、影响力广、国际化程度高成为历年北京设计周最受欢迎的核心展区，共举办800个展览以及上百场活动，拥有超过500家城市更新合作伙伴。

2017年，广安控股在中国城市更新服务商的定位下，依托北京坊、杨梅竹两个项目，成立城市更新学院，在大栅栏设计周中，围绕“设计+城市更新+生活方式”，从城市与人的角度，立足中国，以国际化视野，探索创新从城市顶层设计到城市更新发展实践，从艺术到生活方式的品牌及消费体验。

2018！大栅栏迎来北京国际设计周第8年！设计周期间将推出“传统新生·匠心再造”系列展，让设计力从传统看见未来，2018.09.22~10.07，我们在大栅栏茶儿胡同19-25号期待与您相约！

在北京胡同更新的过程中，鲜有就居民生活现状进行针对性设计的家具产品，对于胡同院落而言，一个完整空间的呈现，恰恰需要家具的置入。“共生—家具设计与区域文化作品展”正是建筑师改造胡同四合院时不断思考的结果。

展览将充分利用北京历史文化街区特有的胡同场地，邀请设计师与高校老师对家具设计融入区域文化进行思考，为其它领域的现代设计与区域文化共生提供探索思路。

展览特别邀请清华大学、北京林业大学、北京工业大学及中央美术学院的老师作为展览支持团队，支持团队将参与展览全过程，以保证呈现高水平的展览质量，策划一个具有学术性、原创性以及前瞻性的集合展。

In the process of the renewal of Beijing Hutong, there are few furniture products designed specifically for thecurrent living conditions of the residents. For the Hutong courtyard, the presentationof a complete space just requires the placement of furniture. The “Symbiosis-FurnitureDesign and Regional Cultural Works Exhibition” is exactly the result ofconstant thinking of the architects when they renovate the Hutong Siheyuan.

The exhibition will make full useof the unique Hutong venue in Beijing’s historical and cultural districts, invite designers and college teachers to think about the integration offurniture design into regional culture, and provide exploring ideas for thesymbiosis between modern designs and regional cultures in other fields.

The exhibition specially invitesteachers from Tsinghua University, Beijing Forestry University, BeijingUniversity of Technology and Central Academy of Fine Arts as a support team forthe exhibition. The support team will participate in the whole process of theexhibition to ensure the presentation of an exhibition with high quality, andto plan an academic, original and forward-looking collection exhibition.
